STRENGTHENING LABOUR RELATIONS Rand Water continues to enjoy good working relationships with its union counterparts, and this has resulted in the creation of conducive work environment. This relationship of mutual respect between Rand Water and its union stakeholders is illustrated by the fact that Employee Relations incidents that happen in the workplace can be resolved at the lowest level possible. EMPLOYEE DISCIPLINE AND GRIEVANCES Labour-related cases and activities form an important part of maintaining a fair and compliant work environment. These include disciplinary actions for serious misconduct, grievances lodged by employees, suspensions, and cases referred to external bodies such as the CCMA.
