Dr. Nomusa Zetha Qunta (54) Non-Executive Member

Ms. Madida holds the following qualifications: • Bachelor of Commerce • Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) • Executive Development Program Ms. Mahuma–Madida has been involved with private companies from 2004 to date, where she gained ample experience in the fields of strategy formulation, fund raising and business development for the various companies. She is involved with manufacturing, business development or Board participation specifically in the infrastructure space. She is currently the MD of Mahuma Investments Holdings (Pty) Ltd, a company with investments in the infrastructure sector. She is a founder and shareholder of the largest women-owned steel merchant in South Africa, which led her, and her co-founder being named amongst the Leading Women-Owned businesses at the Premier Business awards in 2018 (sponsored by the Department of Trade and Industry). Her other involvements include manufacturing of precast concrete products as well as custom made steel products.

Dr. Qunta holds the following qualifications: • Bachelor of Administration (B.Admin) • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com, Hons ) • Master of Commerce (M.COM) • Master of Business Administration (MBA) • Doctor of Philosophy in Governance (PhD) • Honours Degree in Theology. Dr. Qunta currently serves as non-executive director for National Nuclear Regulator in South Africa and serve as chairperson of the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee. She also serves as non-executive director of Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife Board and chairs the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee. She is a Commissioner for the Independent Remuneration Commission for the Public Office Bearers in the Presidency. Her previous non-executive directorships include Durban International Convention Centre, Road Traffic Infringement Agency, Road Accident Fund, Ingonyama Trust Board and Chairperson of the South African Railway Safety Regulator Board.
