Mr. Mhlongo holds the following qualifications: • Chartered Accountant: CA (SA) • Chartered Management Accountant: ACMA • Chartered Global Management Accountant: CGMA • Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) • Bachelor of Commerce • Advanced Taxation Certificate: ATC Mr. Mhlongo served at CFO/ Financial Director level for number of companies for approximately 10 years and he was also exposed to the following industries (amongst others): transport, manufacturing, retail, property, back office services, water sector, nuclear medicine and financial services and health over the past 30 years. Mr. Mhlongo has approximately 30 years cumulative work experience which ranges from Financial Management, Auditing, Enterprise-Wide Risk Management, Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR), Corporate Taxation, Investments, Project and Corporate Finance, Assets Management, Entrepreneurship, Management of Shared Services Centres, Property Development, General Management, Farming, Human Capital, systems Implementations/ Conversations, Development of Business Cases, Strategy Development and Corporative Governance.

Dir) of the Institute of Directors South Africa (IoDSA) and a Certified Emotional Intelligence Practitioner (EQ-i 2.0 Certified) of the Mutli Health Systems Inc. He is a Leadership, Strategy and Governance Practitioner, and serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Nondzaba Consulting (Pty) Ltd, a Leadership and Strategy Consultancy. He also serves as the Chairperson of the Board of Joe Gqabi Economic Development Agency (JoGEDA) SOC Ltd and a member of the Board of Directors for Cornwall Hill College, NPC. He has extensive experience in the areas of Project Management, Environmental Management, Infrastructure Development, Leadership and Management, Governance, Strategy Formulation and Execution, Monitoring and Evaluation, Organisational Performance Management, Change Management and Organisational Turnaround, to name but a few. He previously served in senior and executive management roles in the public sector including the positions of Chief Director, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Business Development Advisor and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), amongst others. He has also served on various Boards of entities including the Eastern Cape Rural Development Agency (ECRDA), King Sabata Dalindyebo TVET College, Mayibuye Transport Corporation (MTC) and Chris Hani Development Agency (CHDA).
