VALUE CREATED THROUGH INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION PILOT PROJECTS In the financial year 2024/25, seven (7) Innovation Pilot Projects were completed. The knowledge gained from the pilot projects was transferred to Rand Water’s process owners for testing, adoption and implementation of innovative solutions. The tested innovations focused on the Circular Economy, Physical Security of Infrastructure Assets and Infrastructure Asset Management. The full implementation of the innovative solutions can benefit Rand Water with total annual cost savings of approximately R1.242 million.
