Personal Mastery Programmes Over and above the comprehensive onboarding programme, Rand Water further supports integration and personal growth through the Personal Mastery Programmes that follow the onboarding process. By focusing on both professional and personal development, Rand Water enhances employee engagement, retention, and long-term satisfaction. These initiatives are designed to empower individuals, foster self-awareness, and align personal excellence with organisational performance. Investment in Excellence (IIE) Programme This programme emphasises that sustainable organisational performance begins with individual excellence. It focuses on developing self-efficacy, personal accountability, and a constructive mindset. A total of 56 delegates attended Investment in Excellence Workshops in the period under review. Neuro Agility Programme (NAP) Grounded in cognitive neuroscience, NAP explores how the brain learns, adapts, and drives behaviour. It supports employees in developing agility, resilience, and a customer-centric mindset. Key outcomes include: • Enhanced learning and adaptability in a fast-changing environment. • Clear understanding of individual value and contribution to internal and external customers. • Alignment with Rand Water’s strategy.
A total of 154 delegates attended NAP Workshops in the period under review. Employee Exits
While effort is being made and strategies are put in place to retain our human capital, we still experience exits of permanent and temporary employees each year. A total of 103 employees exited the employ of Rand Water, a year-on-year decline of 62.82% compared to the previous year’s 277 exits.
