WINNERS’ TOURNAMENT Previously, the winners in 1st, 2nd and 3rd position of all club games for the year qualified for this tournament. However, in 2017 a new format was introduced that replaced the “Golfer of the Year” award and the protocol regarding the selection was concluded as follows: Players have four of the best scores tallied up for all the Club games played. The top 20 players with the highest points qualified to play in this esteemed annual tournament. This award was intended to recognise and acknowledge the player with the most consistent performance throughout the season.
