2017/18 Only one matter remains from the 2017/18 financial year. The Commissioner on the case was recused, and a new Commissioner was appointed. The matter was heard on 18 April 2024. 2019/20 Six cases emanate from the 2019/20 financial year. Two matters were postponed and handled by attorneys for both parties, with numerous witnesses involved. Three cases were delayed due to changes in Commissioners, and one matter was received from the Labour Court. The cases have been scheduled on the following dates:

• 16 May 2024 • 21 May 2024 • 24 May 2024 • 24 June 2024 • 1 July 2024

2020/21 Three cases emanate from the 2020/21 financial year. One award was issued, and two cases were delayed due to a change of Commissioners and several postponements. One case was received from the Labour Court to start de novo. The two matters have been scheduled for 20 May and 12 June 2024, respectively. 2021/22 Ten cases are carried over for the 2021/22 financial year. Four cases were delayed due to a change of Commissioners. Six cases are proceeding with several postponements, and one award was issued.

The cases have been scheduled on the following dates:

2022/23 A total of 35 cases are carried over for the 2022/23 financial year. All cases have been scheduled for the 2024/25 financial year.

Postponements and adjournments: April 2023 to March 2024 A total of 177 cases were postponed for the period under review.
