6. After the Minister’s approval and the bill is gazetted for public comments, LSU and the user review the Bill in linpublic comments received, if any. 7. The Bill is submitted to Parliament for Parliamentary processes. 8. LSU monitors and participate in the Parliamentary process. 1. On receipt of draft legislation from other departments through the Director-General’s memo, Legal Services reviews and provides comments on the draft legislation. 2. LSU submits the comments on the draft legislation through a DG or Minister’s submission. 1. LSU receives written requests for legal opinions from user. 2. Upon receipt of full instructions and supporting documentation, LSU prepares written legal opinion approved by Head: Legal Services.
