3.11 HIV/AIDS & Health Promotion Programmes

Table 3.11.1 Steps taken to reduce the risk of occupational exposure

Units/categories of employees identified to be at high risk of contracting HIV & related diseases (if any) Community Development Worker’s due to the nature of their work in the field.

Key steps taken to reduce the risk

Wellness Days inclusive of HIV Counselling and Testing (HCT) are coordinated. Counselling and support services are provided by the Wellness unit and the Zinakekele Wellness Programme. Other interventions are provided as per the Directorates’ need.
