The senior management team must ensure that services are delivered to the community according to council policy.

Human resource management The municipal manager administers the different municipal departments and makes sure that these departments co-ordinate their work effectively. This is done according to policy directions set by the council. The municipal manager manages all municipal staff. The senior management team is appointed by council in consultation with the municipal manager.
