Due to resource constraints only 75 workshops for District Magistrates were conducted as against 71 in the previous financial year. Of note is that SAJEI conducted the first workshop for 46 newly appointed Senior Magistrates. The purpose of the workshop was to enhance leadership and judicial case management skills of these Magistrates. SAJEI is grateful for the commitment and support of the Chief Magistrates. As part of the mandate of SAJEI, six (6) workshops were conducted for those aspiring to be Judicial officers, covering all three levels of the Judiciary. SAJEI also provides support to other institutions. For the current financial year, military Judges were trained on judgment writing. SAJEI has received support from partners on Facilitation skills, judicial leadership, HIV/TB and Human rights. A regional roundtable on HIV/TB and Human Rights supported by United Nations Development Program (UNDP) was coordinated by SAJEI during the current financial year.
