Sections 77 – 79 of the Criminal Procedure Act (Act 51 of 1977): amendments and cases; discussion of cases dealing with joint possession of firearms; developments in sentencing through the cases; the National Register of Sex Offenders; electronic evidence; technology used in cybercrime; judgment writing; developments in respect of the Child Justice Act (Act 75 of 2008) and RC Practice Directives, CFM and Pre-Trials.

The training was found to be a good eye-opener by the participants. Participants acquired skills on PAJA and enhanced their knowledge on criminal court skills.
