The Board meets regularly to fulfil its duties and responsibilities in terms of the adopted Board charter and remains the focal point of sound corporate governance. The duties of the Board are well elucidated in the SA Civil Aviation Authority.

Role and Responsibilities of the Governing Body

The majority of directors are non executive and independent. The conduct of the Board, Committees, individual directors, and Company Secretary are evaluated and reviewed at least every second year to establish that those charged with governance exhibit the required skills, diversity, independence, and knowledge. It is noted that the composition of the skills required of Board Members is prescribed by section 77 of the Civil Aviation Act. The Board is composed of competent and experienced Board members as appointed by the Executive Authority.
