93% Board meeting attendance. 2025 BOARD FOCUS AREAS AND RESOLUTIONS • Quarterly Group Performance reports were submitted to the Executive Authority as per the requirement of the PFMA and relevant National Treasury Regulations. • The mandate for the annual stakeholder consultation on the proposed Bulk Water Tariff Increment for the financial year 2025/26. • The Proposed Bulk Water Tariff Increment for the financial year 2025/26. • The Consolidated Interim Financial Statements (CIFS) for the period ended 31 December 2024 were submitted to the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in compliance with the JSE Debt Listings Requirements. • The Annual Shareholder’s Compact to be entered between Rand Water and the Minister of Water and Sanitation for the financial year 2025/26. • The Annual Shareholder’s Compact to be entered into between Rand Water and the Rand Water Foundation for the financial year 2025/26. • The revised Group Strategic Risk Register and identifying new and emerging risks. • Statutory reports to be submitted to the National Treasury and/or the Executive Authority, i.e., Annual Budget, 5-year Business Plan, 5-Year Borrowing Plan, Infrastructure Development Plan, Capital Expenditure Plan and Budget, etc., as required in terms of the National Treasury Regulations. • Short Term Incentive (STI) payment to employees for 2023/24 financial year. • The revised Terms of Reference for the re-configured Board Committees. • The annual Board Training and Development Plan for the 2025 calendar year. • Appointment of new transactional bankers for the Group. • The Audited Group Consolidated Annual Financial Statements (CAFS) for the period ended 30 June 2025 are to be submitted to the relevant statutory authorities. • The Integrated Annual Report for 2023/24 financial year. • Strategic Policies: Prominent Influential Person Policy, Revised Leave Policy, Safety, Health Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Policy, Climate Change Policy, Conferencing and Travel Policy, Group Secondment Policy, Accounting Policy, and Group Risk Management Policy. Future Focus Areas • Ensuring that the strategic goals set by the Board register traction.
