Consolidated Annual Financial Statements for the year ended 30 June 2025

STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY BY THE BOARD The Board is required by the Water Services Act, No. 108 of 1997 and the Public Finance Management Act, No. 1 of 1999, to maintain adequate accounting records and is responsible for the content and integrity of the annual financial statements of Rand Water and its subsidiaries, and the related financial information included in this report. The consolidated annual financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2025 have been prepared in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS Accounting Standards) and the Financial Reporting Pronouncements as issued by the Financial Reporting Standards Council. The Board is responsible for a system of internal controls that constitutes control procedures implemented by Rand Water management to ensure efficient and effective business operations for the attainment of set targets and objectives. The Board assessed the risks and ability of the Group to continue as a going concern into the foreseeable future. The Board has no reason to believe that Rand Water and its subsidiaries will not be a going concern in the foreseeable future, based on the current forecasts and available cash resources. The annual financial statements support the financial long-term viability of Rand Water. The Board confirms, based on the information available to date, that it has collectively assessed the content of the consolidated annual financial statements, which fairly represent the financial position of the Group as at 30 June 2025 and the results of the operations and cash flow information for the year ended. The audited consolidated annual financial statements were approved by the Board at its meeting held on 31 October 2025 and signed on its behalf by:
