Market risk The Agency was exposed to interest rate risk on its cash balances at bank; this is a market risk factor.

Agency receives a guaranteed subsidy from National Treasury through the Medium Term Expenditure Framework allocation process to meet all its current and future obligations. The Agency monitors its risk to a shortage of funds by using cash flow forecasting. The cash flow forecasting evaluates cash requirements over the foreseeable future, as well as expected cash flows from operations.
