MARKET DYNAMICS The Western Cape economy showed resilience, with growth in packaging and digital printing services. However, inflationary pressures and energy supply challenges continued to affect operational costs and planning for many member companies. Despite these challenges, the industry demonstrated adaptability and innovation. Key developments included adjustments to SETA funding and grant application processes, labour law updates impacting employment contracts and compliance, and continued emphasis on transformation and BBBEE compliance. The Chamber remained proactive in communicating these changes and supporting members through workshops and consulting services.
