OVERVIEW OF THE REGION The Cape Chamber of Printing SA continues to serve the Western Cape region, representing a vibrant and diverse community of member companies across the printing, packaging, signage and visual communication sectors. The region remains a key contributor to Printing SA’s national footprint, with a strong emphasis on member development, industry advocacy, and skills upliftment. The REC for 2024 was elected during the Annual General Meeting held 2023. The committee welcomed new members and retained experienced leaders, ensuring continuity and

fresh perspectives. This year marked a notable milestone with the introduction of female representation onto the board during the 2024 Annual general Meeting held in April 2024, a significant step toward transformation and inclusivity within the Chamber’s leadership. The REC also adopted a broadened scope of industry representation, welcoming professionals from various sectors within the printing and packaging value chain to ensure more holistic decision making and advocacy.
