Successes • The post for the SCM Manager was filled • The Entity has partnered with CATHSSETA and 3 bursaries were allocated to the employees. • Compliance to improve capacity to deliver on their mandate • Youth empowerment – the Entity appointed seven (7) interns in the Compliance and Finance Business Units to enable them to gain employment in the gambling industry. Six (6) of those interns are now permanently appointed by the Entity. Significant Developments that may have impacted delivery on the Strategic Plan and Annual Performance Plan • The Entity achieved 100% of the targets set.
Measures taken to mitigate the impact on events impacting service delivery • There were no events which had an impact on service delivery of the Entity.

There has been no legislative or policy changes for the period under review.
2.4. Progress towards achievement of institutional Impacts and Outcomes
2.4.1. Impacts and Outcomes as per the Strategic Plan and the progress made towards the achievement of the five-year targets in relation to the outcome indicators is outlined below:
Programme 1: Governance Outcome 1: A sustainable, efficient and effective organisation The Entity achieved 100% in relation to both outcome indicators of the declaration of the financial interests by the Board Members and the financial disclosures by the members of Senior Management.
Programme 2: Finance Outcome 1: A sustainable, efficient and effective organisation
Finance Business Unit is divided into three sub-programmes made up of Chief Financial Officer, Human Resource Management and Supply Chain Management. The targets set for the entire programme two were in-house targets and did not have any effects of the external factors. 100% of the performance indicators was achieved for the 2021/22 financial year for the programme. The Entity received an unqualified audit outcome (clean) for 2020/21 financial year.
