Nikhil Rama A Rising Star Player profile My name is Nikhil Rama. I am a 22-year-old a professional golfer, currently on the Sunshine Tour. I started playing golf at the age of 12, at the Glenvista Country Club with my dad, uncle and cousin. We played every Sunday morning and a tradition of golf was set! I am presently a member of the Bryanston Country Club. I practice at the Eagle Canyon Country Club as it is conducive to where I live and my coach is based out of there as well. However, my course of preference is the Bryanston Country Club. I am presently playing a good game, but it is my fervent hope to be better than excellent. As Bobby Jones said, “I never learnt anything from a match that I won.” My next goal is to get onto the Dubai Ports (DP) World Tour in Europe Brief Background This year is my 3 rd season on the Sunshine Tour (SST) as a professional and ranked 11 th . My Challenge Tour (CT) ranking is 65 and DP Ranking 83.

Challenge Tour co-sanctioned with Sunshine Tour. I have signed membership with the CT, 4 events were hosted in South Africa and I had two successful results - Top 30 and 36 DP World Tour co-sanctioned with Sunshine Tour I have competed in 5 DP world tour events and have been successful in three events: • Top 6 Joburg Open • Top 64 Alfred Dunhill • Top 25 SDC Championship The stand-out result was at the Joburg Open when I was leading the tournament at the halfway stage, final result was top 6. 1.
