EXTENDED CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: INSETA BURSARY FUND – RESEARCH UNIT CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR FUNDING OF POSTGRADUATE STUDIES (HONOURS: NQF Level 7) FOR YEAR 2021 Closing Date: 30 July 2021 The INSETA in Partnerships with its Research Chair DUT invites applicants to be funded towards their Honours studies. The bursary is funded by the Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority (INSETA). The purpose of this funding is to promote research in the insurance sector and support INSETA’s research agenda. Potential applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria to be considered for funding: • All applicants must be South African citizens • The area of study must be of relevance to the insurance sector. • Must not have received any other bursary funding, including NSFAS. Applications will be accepted from Employed Workers (All ages) and Unemployed Youth (Under the age of 35): • Unemployed Youth applicants must be currently registered at DUT • Workers must be employed within the insurance industry Areas of study to qualify for funding: The areas of study that will be eligible for funding include, but are not limited to: • Information Technology & related; • Digitalization, AI and 4IR; • Cybersecurity in the Insurance sector; • Other finance and insurance related qualifications may be considered for funding.
