Programme Planning and Design Revitalisation of Distressed Mining Towns Upgrading of Informal Settlements Programme Priority Projects Regional Co-ordination and HS Implementation Support Services

• Provides programme planning and design for priority programmes such as priority projects within PDAs, informal settlement upgrading and mining towns’ revitalisation. • Specific unblocking of projects. • Facilitates the implementation of transformation and empowerment in all HDA programmes (as per preferential procurement targets set in Programme 1).

• Enhances capacity and renders human settlements project implementation services to provinces and municipalities. • Collaborates with the respective spheres of government to optimise service delivery and facilitate access to adequate housing.
