9. Leave utilisation for the period 1 January 2012 to 31 December 2012 The Public Service Commission identi ½ ed the need for careful monitoring of sick leave within the public service. The following tables provide an indication of the use of sick leave (Table 9.1) and disability leave (Table 9.2). In both cases, the estimated cost of the leave is also provided.
