Continuation of services as CDH has been appointed since September 2020 and understand the merits of the case. Appointing a new service provider may lead to incurring fruitless and wasteful expenditure as the cost incurred to date may end up being wasted as the new service provider may need to be briefed from scratch and which might delay the matter further. To ensure continuity of the operations of ECIC, whilst a new procurement process is initiated, the MC & CSR Unit requests that the expiry date of the contract be expanded from 12 June 2022 to 31 March 2023.
