The Click-Through Rate (CTR) for the year shows a growth of 0.74% for 2023/24. A myriad of indicators were considered in line of the ECIC strategic objectives including, inter alia, the countries’ growth outlook, diplomatic relations with SA and major economic sectors driving the economy. Once these sectors were identified,
these sectors were exposed against the South African economy to identify opportunities that ECIC can leverage to grow its footprint. In order to ensure long-term market sustainability, the growth outlook was also balanced against the proportion of the population being of working age, the countries’ institutional capacity and the direction of trade and investment flows.
