2. LSU reviews the instructions and drafts and/or vets the international agreement in accordance with domestic laws. 3. The international agreement is then sent to the originator to check and to send it to other party for review. 4. After review, the originator gives instruction to LSU to proceed with the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development (DOJCD) and Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) processes. 5. Thereafter, LSU liaises with the Office of Chief State Law Advisor at DOJCD and the DIRCO to obtain legal opinions. 6. Legal opinions from DOJCD and DIRCO are considered in consultation with the instructing unit. Once all proposed changes have been agreed to between the parties, LSU facilitates the certification of the agreement by DIRCO.
