DIRCO has, during the reporting period, held investment outreach initiatives through meetings with various institutions, including government Departments, retail companies and business forums. These particularly focused on the following: • The need to explore areas of cooperation in the transport and urban mobility sector; • Reaching out to South African investors in host countries; • Collaboration on investment promotion, facilitation and post investment support of South African business; Collaboration in investment promotion with domestic partners and South African exporters, • Assessing the sectoral opportunities; • Missions continue to play a pivotal role in business matching and assisting South Africans who wish to open up businesses abroad;
