• Cooperation and support to fight the COVID-19 Pandemic; • Establishment of the COVID-19 Emergency Fund; • Continued exports of medical supplies, specifically paracetamol, to South Africa; • Repatriation and expatriation of nationals; • Visa extensions for business people • The importance of supporting the World Health Organisation (WHO) to fulfil its role and function; • Purchasing of personal protective equipment for health workers and COVID-19 testing kits, as well as ventilators; • Humanitarian and scientific assistance, in light of the COVID-19 Pandemic and its economic impact in the region; • Capacitation of the Africa Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
