74. In addition to the investigations relating to material irregularities, I draw attention to the following engagements conducted by various parties. These reports did not form part of my opinion on the financial statements or my findings on the reported performance information or compliance with legislation. 75. The department is conducting a number of investigations based on allegations of procurement irregularities and financial misconduct. Some of these investigations had been finalised while others were still in progress at the date of this auditor’s report.
