• Included in consumables is print cartridge, stationery, cleaning material and building materials. Increase in property maintenance and repairs is due to payment of prior year accruals with current year budget. Amongst other, increase in expenditure at 75 fox is due to the pipe burst in the building that resulted in flooding and need to be replaced immediately. The convention was hosted by the Green Building Council South Africa (GBCSA), which promotes green building and sustainability in the property and construction sectors. DID is currently a member of GBCSA and employees who attend the conversion earn CPD (Continual Professional Development) points. Increase in travel and subsistence for foreign is as a result of the Department attending construction indaba abroad. DID participated at the Big 5 International Building and construction show from 5 to 8 December 2022
