9. ENTITIES REPORTING TO THE MEC GIFA is the entity reporting to the MEC. On July 3, 2024, the GIFA was transferred to the Department of Infrastructure Development, which constituted its principal Provincial Department. The process of finalisation is underway; the Department will fully disclose the activity of the entity from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026.
