The Department should provide the Portfolio Committee with reasons why there is no budget available on Provincial and Local Government transfers for the next three quarters of the 2019/20 financial year; Furthermore, the Department should motivate for funding during the budget adjustment and allocate funds to the Provincial and Local Government transfers in order to address service delivery challenges through municipal infrastructure support. The Department should ensure that it budget adequately on households so that it addresses the issues of service delivery. The Department should provide the Portfolio Committee with the number of wards that were supported to maintain functionality of ward committees in each municipality.
