Oversight Visit to Jaggersfontein after the disaster – 28 September 2022 – Jaggersfontein: - Monitored emergency services provided by government to victims of the disaster. - Followed up on government’s commitment to relief of victims of the disaster. - Engaged with some of the victims on their challenges. Way Forward / Recommendations: - CGE must monitor compliance with national policy and legislative frameworks aimed at promoting gender - The webinar was about new regulations under the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COIDA).
